2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your location) to use this website. You agree to provide accurate and current information when placing an order or requesting a commission.
3. Artwork
FridgeSpace sells original physical paintings and may offer custom commissioned works.
We aim to present all artwork as accurately as possible. However, colours and textures may vary slightly due to lighting, materials, and screen settings.
All artwork remains the intellectual property of FridgeSpace. Purchasing an original piece or a commissioned work does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights unless explicitly agreed in writing. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the artwork without permission.
FridgeSpace reserves the right to photograph and share commissioned works for portfolio, promotional, or social media purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to commencement.
4. Orders
Placing an order through the website constitutes an offer to purchase. Orders are confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if necessary, including in cases of pricing errors, suspected fraud, or product unavailability. If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued.
5. Commissions
Commission requests are subject to availability and acceptance at our discretion.
Once a commission is agreed upon, you may be required to pay a non-refundable deposit before work begins. This deposit secures your booking and covers initial materials and time.
Timeframes for completion are estimates only and may vary depending on workload and complexity. FridgeSpace will communicate progress where appropriate.
Due to the personalised nature of commissioned artwork, payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. Minor adjustments may be offered at our discretion, but significant changes outside the original brief may incur additional costs.
Final payment (if applicable) must be received before the artwork is shipped or delivered.
6. Pricing
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise and may change without notice.
Shipping, taxes, and any applicable customs duties are calculated separately unless specified.
7. Shipping
Orders and commissions are packed and dispatched from Australia. Delivery timeframes are estimates only.
Once your artwork has been handed to the shipping carrier, responsibility passes to you. If your order arrives damaged, please contact fridgespacedesigns@gmail.com promptly with clear photographs of the packaging and artwork.
8. Returns
Due to the unique nature of original and commissioned artwork, change-of-mind returns are not accepted.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a remedy in accordance with Australian law.
9. Third Party Services
Our store is hosted by Cargo, which provides the e-commerce infrastructure that enables us to sell our artwork. While Shopify powers the checkout system, your purchase is made with FridgeSpace.
We may also use third-party tools or link to external websites. We are not responsible for their content or operation.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes. Access may be suspended if these Terms are breached.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FridgeSpace is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or purchase of artwork.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
